Age Ain’t Nothing But A Number: 1st Wholesale Deal: Profit $26,197.86

I became a mentor student at 18, It took me a little longer to master wholesaling because I was balancing school and work. My mentors Robert & Stephanie started me out as a property scout. I would look for properties in distress, basically the “Ugly houses” in the neighbor that sort of sticks out like a sore thumb.
We call it “Driving it for dollars”. I decided to bring along a few of my buddies to assist me in finding properties. I began to get impatient because it was taking a long time to get a deal, but I was determined to keep doing. A few months passed by and I received a call from an woman who I contacted months ago. She inherited her brother’s home who became sick and later passed away. Being that she had no immediate plans to repair or maintain a 2nd home, she was interested in selling. My mentors guided me through the process and I was able to get it under contract, I ended up making a $26k wholesale profit for my first deal. I didn’t really understand the money that can be made from wholesaling, not bad for a 19 year old college student. I’m very excited about finding my second deal and maybe later progressing to fix and flips.
